Mike has been an Associate Professor in the Physical Education/Human Performance Department at Central Connecticut State University for five years now. He is also a psychology-performance consultant with extensive experience working with many collegiate, elite, Olympic, and professional athletes on performance enhancement, team and leadership consulting, which include some of the Central athletic teams. He is an editorial board member for two sport science/coaching journals (International Journal of Sport Science and Coaching and Annual Review for High Performance Coaches and Consultants), and a reviewer for the Journal of Strength Conditioning. He has written four books on mental toughness training for sport (Coaches Choice Publishing), has several DVD’s on sport psychology-related topics, a series of webinars (Innovative CEU’s) and has submitted a book proposal on sport team leadership.wer for Journal of Strength Conditioning.
